What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?

We managed to finish a book and start another book are book we finished was called Christmas eve.

What challenges did I have?

To find the right words to describe what the picture is and to right a lot.

What am I going to work on next week?

Finishing the next story and get comments from the people in are class. Maybe start the presentation.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?

We achieved to finish one of are books and started to work on another book the one we just started is about how people feel about Christmas and Christmas eve.

What challenges did I have?

The challenges we had were to write down what words that were right to describe the sentence. we also had a struggle with finding pictures that will match the words.

What am I going to work on next week?

To go down to the jr22  classes and ask what they like about the books and ask what they would like in the story's.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?

We manage to make are first two storys and we nearly got a third done  and for the research we did What makes a good story. We think we are going to do detailed work.

What challenges did I have?

To get some good describing  words and getting a lot of word in.

What am I going to work on next week?

To ask the little kids to see if they like the story and then ask what story they  would like us to make next time.

My Passion Project title is how to make a good story book. Who am I working with?

Kasper,Leo and Jake

What are my big questions to guide my learning?

Who are good picture book writers, How do you get your picture book published, What makes a good picture book, What do kids like in there picture books.

I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?)

Because we like writing stories, Because we haven't done it at school, Because we want to give it a try.

What are some possible ways I could share my learning?  Choose 3 possible ways. sideshow 2) story bird 3) A doc

What materials will I need to accomplish my task?

A computer, paper, pencil.

What problems do I foresee occurring during this project and what will I do to solve them?

Not getting the story's done in time so do it at home, Not getting are presentation done, Not getting the reflection done.

When problems come up, who can I contact for support / assistance? (Mentor)

adult, teacher, other kids.

How will this project help me, my family, the community or the world?

Helping with are language features, Getting better at writing story's, And doing something other than sport.

What Learning did you find challenging this week?

To complete my sheet with 8 answers because that was my goal and I got exactly eight but  I didn't read it properly so I I could of got like 25

How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?

I keep't on trying, never giving up, trying my best and asking the teacher if I need.

What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?

That I climbed a mountain and It took all of us 5 hours to complete it all.

Why are you proud if it?

because of the thing above and that I tried my best got muddy and it was very slippery. Also it was a skinny track so it was hard to stay up.

What Learning did you find challenging this week?

I think I could work on the math because the last word question with % was really hard

How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?

At first I asked mr J how to use the strategy then I tried them I got 2 out of 3 right.

What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?

The thing I am really proud of is my drawing in my Maori booklet because I think I did a quality job. 

Why are you proud if it?

Because of the things above  and I tried really hard and think I succeeded

WEEK 4 REFLECTION for Passion Project

WEEK 4 REFLECTION

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?

To get  5 or 6 shots in and to score a half court shot. We  had lots of fun trying to 
get the shot in and trying not to miss it took a while but we finished in time today.

What challenges did I have?

To actually get the  ball into the net the hardest one to get in the hoop was the half
court shot because you have to get the right angle and to get the right pace on it.

What am I going to work on next week?

To finish are presentation and maybe add some pictures of us editing are i movie and what we could do better. We also could add some words into the slide show to make it more interesting.  maybe I could get more videos done if we finish are slide,

WEEK 4 REFLECTION

What Learning did you find challenging this week?

I found my math hard because we were doing  % and this was one of the first time for
me doing % and how fractions and % go together.

How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?

By keep on trying and never giving up and if It was to hard I asked for a bit of help from the teacher or class mates to see how to do it.

What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?

also my math because of how the tasks were and how I never gave up and tried my hardest no matter how hard it was.

Why are you proud if it?

Because of the things above and that I had to ask for help from a friend and he told me how to do it and then I got the hang of it.

WEEK 3 REFLECTION

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?

To get like 9 or more videos and then make a I movie and edited
 it and I think it looked really good.

What challenges did I have?

To get the ball into the hoop without touching the rim so we only got
 one shot that was a swish.

What am I going to work on next week?

To get more videos done and onto the slide so we can do a final production. And to reflect on what we did.

What Learning did you find challenging this week?

To get my writing plan finished and my second paragraph. Because it was just a plan orange city with one tower and a broken coliseum but I just used my imagination and add more stuff in.

How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?

By keep on trying and using my imagination and adding some more stuff into the picture so the reader can imagine he was in that very spot.

What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?

Also my writing because I was really proud of how I really used my imagination and adding in a lot of detailed stuff.

Why are you proud if it?

Because of all the things above and how I ignored my friends talking to each other and because I tried my hardest.

What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?

To right all about what we did the week before and editing are videos so they look good. we also managed to  right what will we do next week.

What challenges did I have?

To right what we will do next week. Also to use a lot of describing words. and to get it accepted by the teacher.

What am I going to work on next week?
To add a lot more videos to my slide and put in how hard it was
and what we are doing next week.
